I started playing guitar as a teenager in my hometown Buenos Aires. I grew up covering grunge, punk, and hard rock classics with close friends in my parents' garage. In the early 2000’s I formed the indie rock band Olaguer and launched an EP. The band was heavily influenced by the local Sonico movement lead by bands like Soda Stereo, Babasónicos, and Los Brujos.
After finishing school and doing a long trip around South America I was deeply touched by the continent’s music and organic field recorded sounds. When I returned home I studied classical guitar and charango which led me down the path of becoming a solo recording artist.
In 2011 I moved to California and began listening to and experimenting with electronic music.
In 2017 I launched my first solo album called Camino, an instrumental album inspired by the spirit of a road trip. The album is a blend of different sounds and styles from traditional Argentine folklore, Andean, electronic and California surf music.
In March 2018, I released my second album, Andante, a continuation of my previous work. This album, more guitar-centric, mixes different influences like Latin American cumbia, ambient techno, downtempo electronic and melodically-driven guitar riffs.
In September I released Pocket Songs Volume 1, a three-song album recorded with an ultra-portable setup while backpacking around Southeast Asia. I captured the spirit of the places I visited through the sound of my traveler guitar, field recordings, song titles, and cover photo.
In November I released Bangkok, my first attempt to get closer to electronic music. The album includes the original song, Bangkok, which combines electronic music patterns with traditional Latin American percussions and guitar riffs. The rest of the songs are remixes from Whirling Wolf releasing artist Claus Vega, Timoti, KaaN and Thommie G, reinforcing the idea of the album as a cross path between electronic and Latin America’s music.
Solsticio was originally conceived during a long backpacking trip around Hawaii, Asia, and Oceania. The album was released on September 27, 2019.
In November 2019 I had the opportunity to remix the track Leave Some Trace from Alpaca Brothers.
Nostalgia (2020) was recorded in Buenos Aires during the strict city lockdown and uncertain times. The song was produced by Nico Brushchi, aka @SidiRum over a series of Zoom video calls.
Raíz (2021) is a 27 minute long minimalistic instrumental album jointly released by The Slow Music Movement. Its 7 tracks combine beats from a legendary Ace Tone drum machine, quiet electric guitar layers and subtle acoustic percussion to create relaxing dreamy landscapes inspired by parenthood and a return to nature.
